Wilhelm Willeke

Wilhelm Willeke Balmaceda was born in Santiago de Chile in 1979 and is a logistics engineer by profession. A hardened traveler, he has visited a great number of countries in his many trips around the world. However, this impulse to know the world is only one of the three passions that have filled the life of this biker, as this is how he likes to define himself. The second passion is the sea, and he is a diving instructor in his own company, which has led him to immerse himself in the most exotic and exuberant waters on earth. The third, which is the one most closely related to this book, is the world of the road, in which he finds himself like a fish in water and which he has traveled through countless times on the back of his Yamaha Midnight Star. There, on the road, is the only place where, like the protagonist of his work, Willeke truly finds freedom.

At 37, he decides to write his first novel where he can reflect all the love he feels for motorcycles and for that almost magical universe to which they give him access, a universe that puts him in contact with nature and speed, that is, with the very primal current of life. But Willeke has managed to create a story that will not only introduce the reader to the exciting world of asphalt, but also immerse him in a plot full of suspense, adventure and passion. The reader will travel through its pages as if he were riding a motorbike, without relaxing the tension for a single moment, from the beginning to the end of the reading. From the first moment he opens the novel, he will be taken by the hand of Wilhelm Willeke's masterful pen through a disturbing and mysterious world that only someone who has truly lived an intense and emotionally rich life would be able to create.

Today, his novel is already in three languages, being recognized as BestSeller with its third edition and recognized worldwide as the Motorcycle Writer.
