Nicholas Ferguson

Nicholas Ferguson is a computer systems engineer, painter and writer in Florida. He spent twenty years forcing things to happen: carrying plates after dropping out of college, then HP in Denver, then Bermuda, where by 2016 he was running technology at a hedge fund.

In 2019 he sat in a chair on a stage in front of a room full of people and came home with something he has been putting into words ever since: the Theory of Sovereign Reflectivity. It takes one rule from physics, keep the relationship and flip the condition, and uses it to describe the side of life you can’t see. His first book, in 2020, hid the theory inside a book about project management. The Sovereign Mirror tells it whole, as a conversation.

He isn’t a physicist, and he has never been much of a reader. He taught himself to learn one precise definition at a time. He also writes fiction and paints.
