Mike Payne

Award winning international cartoonist & illustrator Mike Payne is the creator of ranges and concepts of hugely successful characters and licensed merchandise known across the world. It is estimated that greeting cards featuring his creations have sold in excess of ten hundred million worldwide.

Mike is perhaps best known for being the creator of “Tatty Teddy” from the “Me To You” concept (the charcoal bear with the blue nose ) which he drew under his pen name of “Miranda” for seventeen years. He then moved to pastures new in 2004.

“Milo’s Lucky Sneeze” is Mike’s very first book for children and he is currently illustrating a great many other stories that he has written. During "Lockdown" Mike decided to do a daily spot cartoon about "Little Else"and has just published a book of his first 120 cartoons about this endearing little girl. She is proving to be immensely popular on Facebook. He is also working on several projects - one of which, is publishing a paperback book of all of his twenty four Charlie's Ark stories together with heart warming illustrations. Mike continues developing this concept for both television and film.
