Pia Jones

Pia Jones is an author, creative workshop facilitator and integrative arts psychotherapist (UKCP), passionate about the power of story, art-making and nature as support to help us grow through the transitions of life. Her series of ‘therapeutic fairy tales’ series, Volume 1 and 2, rooted in nature, were created in close collaboration with artist and arts educator, Sarah Pimenta. Pia co-wrote, 'Rewilding Children's Imaginations' a creative, educations manual, with Sarah Pimenta, and award-winning children's author, Tamsin Cooke. Pia previously created ‘Sometimes I Feel’ - an illustrated story-card resource to support children and caregivers in exploring a range of feelings. She was also story director on artgym’s award-winning documentary, ‘The Moving Theatre’, telling real-life stories of migration through puppetry. She spoke at TEDx about the arts as a compass through times of transition. Pia's independent arts therapy practice is based at Studio 34, in Archway, North London.
