Carrie Heflin is the Program Manager for Early Learning at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. She believes children are capable learners who can get a lot out of museums if they have adults like Officer Smitty who are willing to share in the adventures! As a child, Carrie was a lover of books before she could even read. She would flip through the pages and mutter, "Read, read, read, read." As an adult, Carrie still loves reading and she hopes that her books will be fun for children to, "Read, read, read, read," over and over again.
