Rupert Ward

Professor Rupert Ward is a former Special Adviser to the Royal Household and Project Lead for iDEA, one of the world's most successful free educational technologies. As a Professor of Learning Innovation, Rupert believes strongly in both learning and innovation. His own learning journey has so far involved eight postgraduate qualifications including quantum physics, technology management, education and international development. His innovations have promoted the effective use of technology within education, for which he has been recognised as both a UK National Teaching Fellow and as a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is currently campaigning for a different approach to formal education, one based on personalised learning.
