He has been a walker for 60 years or more and delights in exploring footpaths, bridleways and green lanes along with ancient drovers & travelers routes that would have linked hamlets, farmsteads, settlements and market towns many of which have now become part of our vast network of 'Public Rights of Way' full of rich flora, fauna and fascinating history.
Born 1948 in Groby, Leicestershire, he moved to Shropshire at the age of 53 where he still very much enjoys walking and looking for new paths to roam.
