D J Lee

DJ Lee is a practicing anesthesiologist, and writer of medical thrillers. During her career she has had a variety of amazing experiences and met some colorful people, that collectively screamed out “There be stories here!” That nudge to create those stories never went away. She has followed a dream in combining her love of reading and life-long passion for writing to become an author. She’s been shaped as much by her hobbies of travel, skiing, yoga, hiking, gardening dance, as she has by her experiences as an anesthesiologist. She is overjoyed to have completed her first novel, and be working on the next, because there’s always a story out there to be written.

Taryn Pirelli, heroine of Shell Game: A Medical Thriller, is slated to get into more trouble poking her nose in unwelcome places in her next novel. She’ll be joined by Blake and some friends from Shell Game as she encounters her next mystery and faceless foes. DJ Lee loves, and is striving to create a thriller series where you feel that each book offers an opportunity to rejoin old friends in their adventures and walk on the edge and dangerous side of life.

DJ is writing under a pen name, because how would you like to wonder if your anesthesiologist is thinking about some gruesome murder scene or diabolical healthcare related situation as you drift off to sleep?
