Vicky Stowe Williams

Vicky Stowe Williams was born in Northern New York (1954- ) She taught in the area of special education for 26 years, grades two through Seniors. Her first publishing was of poems in small college chap books. She has also has publish a story in the local newspaper. She ventured into direction several high school drama plays and musicals. She loves the creative challenges of writing for all ages, children up to adults. She is proud of her family ancestry. The Stow(e) family entered the new world in the 1700. She has an ancestry that fought in the Revolutionary War and her great-grandfather fought in the Civil War. She now lives on the property her great-grandfather purchased. She may not be a blood relative to Harriet Beecher Stowe, who wrote Uncle Tom's Cabin, but Harriet Beecher Stowe is her great-great-great-aunt, as her husband Calvin is V.S.Williams Great-Great-Great-Uncle.
