Ewe Linka

Ewelina Niecikowska was born on the very lucky 13th of December 1994 and raised in Poland.

She wrote ASHEN SHADOWS under the pen name of Ewe Linka.

(Ewe is pronounced like ‘eve’ in seven)

At the age of thirteen, Ewe moved to England, then went on to graduate from City, University of London with a Law degree. Not quite the creative degree you may have been expecting, but she had always liked to dabble in many different things, such as her love for beach volleyball.

Her love for writing started off the moment she moved away from her home country where she would write long letters to her grandparents, telling them everything about her life and how she was getting on in the new environment. These letters then turned into something she would do every now and then to catch up in a written form on top of having phone calls with them.

Letters turned into writing short stories, short stories turned into writing elaborate grocery lists and, you’ve guessed it, elaborate grocery lists turned into writing this book.
