Bruce S. Snow is author of Can Everybody Swim? A Survival Story from Katrina's Superdome (Et Alia, 2016).

Snow's debut work, Can Everybody Swim? is an up-close and personal memoir, taking us into the epicenter of the devastation as only a native New Orleanian could. Snow's authentic retelling of the days following Hurricane Katrina combines tragedy and satire in a style that has been compared to Tom Wolfe's exhilarating 'new non fiction' of the 1960s.

The events of CES? occur mere months after the University of New Orleans' 2005 Spring Commencement, at which Snow received a Bachelor of Arts from the school's History Department.

A featured presenter at the 2016 Louisiana Book Festival, Bruce S. Snow has been interviewed by The Rumpus, Arkansas Times, and KATV Channel 7 (ABC affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas). In 2018, Swim's eye-catching cover design received a Bronze IPPY from the Independent Publisher Book Awards.

Snow's life post-Katrina is flavored with delightful local cuisine, unconventional music, great books, and bad movies. His attention is now focused on the pursuit of penning the 'great American novel.'
