Judy (Meyer) Smith

Judy (Meyer) Smith (1950- ) still lives on her corner of the universe in Kent, Ohio, where she enjoys many things while writing, sewing, and quilting. She attended Kent State because it was close to home, and now the university surrounds her. She worked in the library system for many years and graduated from the University after the birth of her daughter. Judy opened a typing service, which gave her the tools and some time to write. After her daughter moved out into the world, Judy had the time to sew, to craft, to quilt and to teach these skills which she continues to do today. Judy always wanted to tell stories. "Crucial Turns," is her first work of fiction and it reminds us that, "In Life, In Love, In Rodeo there are always ... Crucial Turns ... to survive and win."
