After a first novel (Même les mouches suivent les saisons) Marc Ducasse continues in his own way, exploring the meaning of life events, through his characters as surprising as they are wacky, in order to help readers become aware of their ability to create the life they want, and to find their own path to happiness. The power of thought, the power of the subconscious, the interpretation of life events, are all subjects that he approaches the treating from different points of view, which he attributes to the many characters in his books. Being able to understand our successes and our failures, without looking for the responsible outside, is simpler than one thinks, and is the goal of these Romans.
