I believe knowledge transforms the way we live, desire, and relate to one another. It has transformed me - and that's why I write: so that this change can reach you too.

This belief has guided me through nearly two decades in academia, where two themes came to shape my path: women's rights and the impacts of pornography. From that journey come my work as a university professor (UNIRIO), a Doctor of Law (UFRJ), and coordinator of the Feminismo Literário project.

In my research on pornography, I write about its effects on real life: on consumption, relationships, and mental health. If you're looking to understand your own consumption (or someone close to you) know that my goal is not to judge, but to help you understand - with depth, without dogma.

In my study of women's rights, my mission is to make things simple: to take knowledge out of academic jargon and make it accessible. Understanding these rights is the first step to exercising them. I speak to women and men alike - this isn't a conversation only for women, it's one for everyone.

If these topics interest you too, pick one of my books. They're affordably priced, because democratizing also means fitting into the budget of anyone who wants to read. It would be an absolute pleasure to be part of your journey.
