Chee Lam

Chee Lam’s career spanned multi disciplines in IT. During his 25 years of an IT career, he worked for both corporate end user’s IT and as IT consultant for MSP serving clients before starting his company in 2016. Once an outsourced Microsoft employee, he served high-profile clients such as the U.S. military, British High Commission, and Fortune 500 companies. He then joined ING Direct Bank, where he was heading the bank’s email system and mobile devices division’s security program. In year 2015, he joined a fintech start-up, ZenBanx, where he ran its global command center headquartered in Toronto, with regional offices in Wilmington, Delaware and San Francisco, California.

As a founder and CEO of Deskflix Inc. in Toronto, Canada, he led the company by offering innovative and specialized IT infrastructure, support, and advisory services in the areas of private equity, hedge, and family offices. The firm offered services such as IP Telephony, video conferencing, structured cabling, advanced secure IP networks, cyber security policies and framework enablement, and virtual CIO. He also is actively involved in helping clients with investors’ due diligence in the advisory board panel participation. Some projects he worked includes merger and acquisition with Mercer Consulting, based in New York, and IT audit with Deloitte and KPMG here in Toronto.
