I’m Lisa Bell, a published author since 2010 with a lifelong love for storytelling and the strange, beautiful worlds that exist just beyond reality. I started writing as a teenager, using stories as both escape and exploration, and over time that quiet passion grew into something far bigger than I ever imagined.

While I spend my days running a publishing and media agency, I still find myself drawn back to the page whenever I can, chasing ideas, characters, and worlds that refuse to stay quiet.

Urban fantasy has always been my natural home as a writer. I love blending the familiar with the surreal, placing ordinary people into extraordinary situations and exploring the emotional threads that hold them together. But as both a writer and reader, I’ve become increasingly curious about stepping into new genres, including clean romance, Afrofuturism, speculative fiction, and children’s storytelling.

At the heart of everything I write is the same intention: to give readers a moment to pause, step away from everyday life, and disappear into a world completely different from their own.
