Jeffrey W Cline

Jeff Cline figures he is on the 15th tee of his 18-hole round of life. Happily married with three children, two grandchildren, and a Jack Russell Terrier, he resides in suburban Philadelphia, PA and is currently (since 2020) the Executive Director of the local chapter of The ALS Association. The author of two books (only one is published) he also enjoys creative expression in the form of art and choral music. Golf, however, has been his lifelong passion and the source of mountainous joy, suffering and frustration. "Golf mimics life. A shot perfectly planned and executed can immediately be followed by an effort so putrid that the only sensible thing to do is laugh. Such is the difficulty of golf and the game of life."

Having never once contemplated writing a book, he attributes the penning of "Tweener's Choice" as a form of literary catharsis. "I suppose the sheer accumulation of human suffering and loss due to this hideous disease compelled and propelled me to write books featuring characters with ALS. I think the message of my books is that we take ourselves far too seriously, and woefully underestimate the intensity and dimensions of the Creator's love for us all.
