Sue Ireland

Sue Ireland is a lady of a certain age, and mother of two talented and creative young persons, and grandmother of yet another.

For her sins she is married to poet Terry Ireland and her full time job is keeping track of his glasses. Before retiring she designed websites for a pittance. In a mad moment four years ago she joined Terry in the poetry-writing world and together they often perform in and around Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. They do their thing at open mics, poetry venues and festivals, performing as Sue and the General.

Sue writes rhyming, rhythmical and narrative poetry. She loves to tell a story in her poems.
