Kurt Mansperger

Kurt Mansperger is the Chief Technology Officer at Boston Public Library and has over fifteen years of experience in technology and management consulting. Kurt has guided organizations through major custom development projects that streamlined how they operate and he led the transition of Boston Public Library staff from an in-person to a remote operating model. He co-founded First Step Coding, where he coached individuals on how to transition into new careers and taught the fundamentals of coding in a live, online course that over five hundred students completed. Kurt also co-founded Human Connections, based near Puerto Vallarta, whose mission is to increase empathy across cultures and strengthen communities through responsible travel experiences. Kurt frequently speaks to patrons, organizations, and companies about how technology and attention to their stakeholders can bring positive transformation to their business and lives.
