Sid Mickle

Sid Mickle was born a Southerner and entered the sales world, which means he's always been a storyteller. A native of LaFayette, Alabama, Sid crisscrossed the country for forty years as a sales manager, trainer and consultant before returning to East Alabama to pursue his passions of writing, landscaping, and restoring classic vehicles. His life story took decades to develop and hopefully a little less time to read.

After taking years to write "A Backwards Glance", others followed quickly. Now, book eight, "I Wrote A Book & Found Myself" is available on Amazon books. All Sid Mickle books are available on Amazon in paperback and E-book form.

Sid Mickle primarily writes with a focus on fiction. The 3-part Sam Bennett series and "If I Could Turn Back Time" are crime fiction works. Most of his characters are a combination of people he has known. Work continues on the third book in the three-part series on the character Sam Bennett. Existing books are "Who Killed Glenna", and "Kill em All." The third book in the series is "Kill Harraway" and should be available in Spring 2027. A two-part Civil War fiction series is also underway. Book one, "Dying For Dixie" should be published by late summer 2026.

Sid writes with a small town feel and real world complications. Many of his characters begin with someone he knew personally and are incorporated into his stories with a touch of the real persons personality and morality. His writing has been called edgy and gritty, with a strong southern flavor.
