Harvey Castro, MD, MBA, is a board-certified emergency physician who has spent his career treating patients, building companies, and writing about what comes next in medicine. Known as DR GPT™, he is Advisor to the CEO of Phantom Space and the Former CEO of Trusted Medical Centers.

His newest book is AI in Emergency Medicine: What All Healthcare Professionals Can Learn from the Artificial Intelligence Revolution, from Wiley. It is a practical briefing on using AI in the emergency department, written for healthcare professionals.

He is ranked #3 globally on the Thinkers360 Top 50 Thought Leaders and Influencers on AI (2026) and was named #24 on Offcall's Top AI Healthcare Voices 2026. He has given five TEDx talks.

He is the author of 47 books.
