Gabriel Lee

I was born in the North East of England in 1954.

After working in Industry and going to college, the age of 22, I was accepted by Northumbria Police as a police constable. This was the start of a long, enjoyable, difficult, ever changing career. It certainly opened my eyes, the cruelty of others, the raw emotions of victims, the murder scenes, the rise of the drug scene.

Having learned my investigative skills in the local cities and towns, I moved onto Drug Squad, Vice Squad, force crime teams and National Crime Squad. I developed an in-depth knowledge of the methods and tactics used to defeat organised crime groups and detect serial offenders.

The biggest assets to any enquiry are teamwork, and the free-flowing intelligence amongst those on the investigation. 'Everything into the pot.'

I am now retired and living in Spain.
