Janene Onyango

Janene Onyango was born and raised in New York City. She is an elementary school teacher and her commitment to educating, inspiring and uplifting students spans over 20 years. In 2018, she was honored with the NJEA Judith Owens Spirt Award for her social justice activism. Janene is a patron of the arts and teetotaler. Lavender tea is one of her favorites. She aspires to inspire before she expires!
