Julia Briz

Julia Briz is a Madrid-based Broadcast Producer, TV Editor, and crime fiction writer. After more than a decade working on major international sports events, she turned to storytelling, driven by her interest in moral tension, human psychology, and the hidden layers of everyday life.

Her debut thriller, Bid Number Nine—originally published in Spain as La Puja del Nueve—quickly became a bestseller, praised for its emotional intensity, cinematic atmosphere, and unforgettable characters.

Julia is currently working on the third book of the Inspector López series.
