CM Writer (she/her) is a Canadian poet and author whose work explores healing, resilience, embracing change, and the quiet beauty of becoming. Through emotionally reflective poetry and nature-inspired imagery, she hopes to create work that makes readers feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
She is the author of six poetry collections: The Butterfly Paradox, Wonder of the Cosmos, The Roots of a Goddess, A Home Within, The Violet Delights, and Paint Us Red.
Her writing is heavily inspired by wildflowers, changing seasons, astronomy, and the complicated experience of growing into yourself. Across her work, she explores themes of softness, self-discovery, femininity, recovery, belonging, and learning how to hold both grief and hope at the same time.
When she isn't writing, CM Writer can usually be found researching immunology while working toward her PhD, collecting books faster than she can read them, or convincing herself that buying another notebook is absolutely necessary.
