Dr. Edward Chamberlain is Associate Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Washington Tacoma. His research focuses on the storytelling of identity, community, and social justice. This research speaks to the artwork and narratives of diverse peoples from the Americas including the peoples of Chile, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and beyond. Dr. Chamberlain has published research in journals such as English Language Notes, Pacific Coast Philology, and Lateral: The Journal of the Cultural Studies Association. He is also working on research projects that involve food culture, nature, and social movements. In the past, he has taught classes that focus on the representation of families, ethnicity, gender, poetry, and science fiction. Similarly, he offers workshops and advocates for equity and inclusion in varying fields.
