JC MacQueen, artist, founder of the 21st century religion Society of Sacred Flowers and political commentator President Mac.

March 1983, the artist bought advertising spaces on the Chicago Mass Transit system (CTA) and displayed seven of the artist’s silkscreen prints from 1983 to 1999. The prints were installed beside the public platforms on both the elevated and underground CTA lines of Chicago. Four of the images on pages 3, 7, 99, 135, are included in the, Veracity I See How You Are, graphic novel. The images of that book are prints for similar installations on billboards and mass transit systems worldwide.

The motivation for the CTA print series was this:

The train of poison and pollution economics and continued adherence to Dark Age religious myths that justify repression of women, gays, sustains racism, and segregation are forces that lead to an inevitable catastrophe.

Unfortunately, no alteration of direction was taken.

We have arrived at the destination.

What the immaturity and stupidity of toxic economics and bigotry have sown we all have to reap the harvest.

The Society of Sacred Flowers is the necessary upgrade of religion to the reality of the 21st century.
