William Clark

William Clark grew up in an industrial neighborhood in Muncie, Indiana. As a kid, he helped his father paint houses. His dad was a toolmaker at Chevrolet. After work, his dad took a fifteen-minute nap, then painted a house He and his brother always worked. He learned that a good work ethic was "the American way".

Clark has written six books: "Hope and the Approaching Apocalypse"; "A Light on the Path", "Seeing Beyond the Shadows", "Smoky Mountain Risng - The Day That Changed Everything" (the previous three are also a trilogy) "A Walk on the Sunny Side " and "The American Peacemaker - Healing the Great Divide". All of the books are Christian-based, inspirational, and most are similes of American society. As of February, 2024, Clark's entertaining short story collection, "A Walk on the Sunny Side", is his best seller.

Some of Clark's best reviews of "A Light on the Path": an Indiana reader said, "I like it better than "The Shack". A North Carolina reader said, "I didn't want it to end". Clark is also a contributing writer to Chicken Soup for the Soul. His stories are in "The Magic of Cats" and "Miracles and the Unexplainable". Willam Clark is a graduate of Ball State University. His professional work included piano performance and the ministry. He and his wife live near the Great Smoky Mountains. He has two sons and four grandsons.
