Morgan Edwards

Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, Morgan Edwards (his parents insist there is no connection) grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Western Maryland. He then attended Bowdoin College in Maine, leading him to write An Outlier’s Tribe—a memoir about his contrasting experiences living in each environment. He has also worked on issues of peace and reconciliation in Belfast, Northern Ireland, founded & co-hosted the political podcast Filibustered, and was selected as a 2018 Maryland delegate to the United States Senate Youth Program. Most recently, he has worked with the late-night political comedy show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

When he’s not writing, he can be found perfecting his Bernie Sanders impression, checking off places on his bucket list, and watching (and despairing over) his beloved Washington Wizards.
