Loretta lives in Manchester, England.

Loretta began her career working with children as a Nursery Nurse at aged 18.

She went on to work as a Primary school teacher and then with children with Special Educational Needs.

Loretta is passionate about story telling and teaching reading.

Loretta considers books and literacy to be the gateway to opening the world to children and igniting their imagination.

Loretta has just retired from teaching and has decided to put some of her story telling into words and create children's picture books.

The first book has been inspired by all the eager little readers she has taught over the years.

As a teacher, Loretta knows the importance of reading and how time saving it can be to have ready made resources for teaching.

Loretta also knows how much parents, carers and grand parents appreciate resources that go with children's favourite books.
