Mark Harris

Mark Harris was born in 1966 in Brighton in the south of England. When he was six the family moved briefly to London then Brussels where his father worked for the European Commission.

He went to school in Suffolk and left aged 16 to work first in hospitality, then retail management.

This was followed by working in recruitment after which he sold software to HR departments and recruitment companies.

In 2003 and 2004 he helped organise races in the High Arctic. In 2012 he became a local councillor and was Mayor of Cirencester from 2015-2017. He plays in a band and has built a recording studio.
