Jess Carlson

Jess Carlson is a witch, blogger, and professional tarot reader. Jess helps guide busy modern witches into living a more magickal life by embracing their inner witch and learning to create their own magickal path and practices.

Jess has been practicing magick for over 30 years. She has studied with a variety of both well known and lesser known teachers in the traditions of witchcraft, shamanism, and Buddhism. Today Jess works primarily with modern Witchcraft that is heavily influenced by Chaos magick. She believes strongly in working with the practices and techniques that resonate deeply with the individual at the moment that they need it, always focusing on what is empowering personally rather than what dogma guides them to do.

Jess was voted Favorite Witchcraft Blog and Favorite Witchcraft Teacher by Witch Way Magazine in 2018. She is the former co-host of The Modern Witch Podcast and has been featured as a guest on numerous podcasts and online summits, including The Biddy Tarot Podcast, New Age Hipster Radio, and The Boss Mystic Podcast.

Jess lives in New England and spends as much time as she can with her soul mate Josh and her furbaby Minerva. When not doing witchy things she is hopelessly addicted video games, independent wrestling, and a mix of all things creepy and kawaii.
