Claire Shaw

Born in Yorkshire, Claire Shaw taught English literature and English language in both the UK and in Spain. Her passion for history was ignited by her history teaching father who compelled her to visit every church that he ever came across. This led to her fascination with historic houses and historic biography. She is also deeply interested in the power of stories and of story-telling, so watch out for her next publication - '10 Greek Myths', a modern retelling of some the fables which have endured millenia and have become part of our collective consciousness.
