Linda Strait

Linda Strait was born in Springfield, Missouri where she has lived most of her life with her siblings and large extended family.

Her career was in the travel industry, which took her to many parts of the world. She has borrowed the quote: “I have not been everywhere, but its on my list.” She retired from her travel career in 2011, but did not retire from traveling.

Throughout her life she followed the patterns established for her by family and society—get married, have children, build a career.

In her late 30’s she started shifting directions in an active search for joy and more meaning to life by going inward and getting to know herself—seeking wisdom as well as knowledge. Her current career is in helping others who are also seeking deeper understanding. She is a poet and a “deliverer of messages” meant to inspire, support and give hope to those seeking it.
