Dan Stevens

I was born in San Diego, California, to two wonderful parents, joined soon after by an amazing younger sister. I spent my childhood involved in sports, drumming, and frequent trips to the movies.

At 21, I moved to Spain to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After spending two years falling in love with the country, I returned home and moved to Utah.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Weber State University in 2013. My daughters, Jane and Kate, were born in 2014 and 2017, respectively. We now reside in Layton, Utah.

I’ve always enjoyed stories about mystery, intrigue, and espionage. After living in Spain for two years, and also developing an affinity for writing, I began to formulate what I thought was an engaging story. After ten years, I finally told myself that if I didn’t stop making excuses and put pen to paper (metaphorically), I’d never get it done. So, I started writing with the goal of creating a captivating story, accessible to a large audience, that, when all is said and done, I would love to read.

This story represents my first foray into writing and self-publishing and my hope is that readers will take a chance on it and will not only find it entertaining, but will feel genuine emotion as they finish reading the final page.
