Thomas Graham Morry

Thomas G. Morry (1948–1998) was born in Newfoundland before it joined Confederation; he moved to Ottawa with his family in the early 1950s. Educated at St. Patrick's College High School, the University of Ottawa (B.A.), and Carleton University (M.A. Public Policy and Administration)he pursued a career in the Canadian federal government in the field of Personnel Policy. A small bilingual edition of his poems, Seasons and Other Times / Évszakok és más idők, with translations by Marietta Morry Retek, his Hungarian-born wife, was published in Hungary in 1997. With this new volume, the editors hope to bring the timeless poems of Thomas G. Morry to a wider audience.
