Tamara Ford

A baker, caterer, entrepreneur, graphic designer and mother from Kingston, Jamaica, who became a self-published author and poet in 2020. I love books, and not just my own because I support other authors by buying and adding new books to my reading list every week. Even though I have a lot on my plate most days from my many business ventures and personal life, I still find time to read new books and write fresh stories. Growing up as an only child, I had no friends at home to play with, so my only option was reading. And I became more and more intrigued with every story which led me to try my hand at writing. Writing has always been a part of my life, as I started at a very yotime, time who is now also a writer, found it and loved it too. My third piece was a romantic novel, that I wrote at 18. This time, I willingly showed a few friends and, of course, they loved it, but sadly, it mysteriously got misplaced and it still hurts even to this day.

But regardless of writing those stories, this wasn't something that I had planned on taking seriously. Never in a thousand years did I see myself getting here because if you were to tell me I would become the author of over 10 published books, I would've looked at you funny while wondering if you were a crazy person. But here I am, telling the world about myself on my "Author's Page."

This reserved, stuttering woman from Jamaica is now making strides and doing what she thought was impossible. Philippians 4:13 came to pass…

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

To you, my readers, I hope you will have as much fun reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing, editing, (the whole nine yards) and presenting them to you.

Tamara.
