G James Hoffman

Jim Hoffman, United States Naval Academy Class of 1966, was an executive in the aerospace industry, as well as serving in senior levels in defense and intelligence organizations.

Among the challenges that proved his agility in solving complex problems, he planned the turnaround for the factory that produced the Army’s tank engine in time for battle in the Gulf Wars. This success was instrumental in later being selected for a Senior Executive Service (SES) position in intelligence.

He became an expert in Enterprise Resource Management consulting with Fortune 500 companies. The ERP foundation disciplines gave rise to the basic elements in Hoffman’s American Value System, which unifies the discussion of presidential values in the book.

The system rests on five principles supporting seven presidential values.
