Cortez Brasean

Greetings my dear people! My name is Cortez Brasean and I believe that better days are ahead of us all. They're many things that motivate me to write and use my intellect to paint portraits with words. I like to show the strength and power in word form. I normally refer to my writings as scrolls and scribes revised teachings and knowledge I've collected in my lifetime. The art and discipline that comes with a form of knowledge. Rather it be a book or soundtrack the beauty is in the manifestation of the works once the information is conceived. That's why I continuously stress the importance of delivering the proper message when you're addressing the people most importantly the youth. I was inspired by many different quotes and teachings manifested by some of the world greatest minds. For example William Shakespeare, Langston Hughes, and Mya Angelo are some of the few authors and poets who inspire me to this day. There's a famous saying that states, "Each one teach one" and that's a very powerful quote we should definitely take more action on. My visions are to see this nation rise and that's what my works and art are based upon.
