At 10 years of age, I got my first Wire Fox Terrier, Buzzy, a much beloved pet. Years later JellyBean entered my life, and together, we had a good amount of success participating in the American Kennel Club's activities of dog conformation shows and obedience trials. JellyBean also earned a Go-to-Ground certificate proving she could do what Wires were bred for; chasing and killing vermin. JellyBean also did a good deal of ad and commercial work.

Later I competed in agility trials with an Irish Terrier, Tootsie Rose, and another Wire Fox, Buddy.

I enjoy dogs still but at a more leisurely pace. Other interests include gardening, writing, and singing Italian arias. My husband, David, and I have traveled from Tasmania to Alaska and greatly enjoy visiting the UK every year. At home, in South Carolina, we have two Australian Shepherds. (go figure!)
