E.R.A. McCarthey

E.R.A. McCarthey has spent the last year with nightmares. Twisted dreams of a chilling future that seems to gradually become reality. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, she and her husband lost the business they had been building for eight years, like countless other small business owners across the world. With little work available and three children worried at home, she started to write down her dreams, hoping to ease their weight on her heart. She shared the first story with her husband and her concepts for the others. After listening to her, he knew they had to get the stories out the world. The words rang true to him and the disturbing tales seemed horrifyingly possible if we continue down our current path.

Since then E.R.A. writes daily and diligently knowing that her stories have a purpose. She believes they are potential prophecies for our future if we don’t change our course of action. She hopes her chilling visions of the future might help people see the world around them with a different perspective – what future repercussions their actions will have. Choices made now can become something else entirely as they ripple outwards in society and into the future.
