Andy Palmer

Drowning is my first book and covers my struggles with addiction and my coming of age. I am working on a second memoir covering sobriety and getting my life back after addiction. I'm also working on a novel.

I studied my undergraduate degree at The University of Leeds and finally went on to get my PhD in English from The University of Lincoln. I have worked as an English teacher in secondary school and a lecturer in university. I currently work freelance as a writer and editor. I'm based in Penistone, between Barnsley and Sheffield with my wife and two daughters.
