James C Boland

Born in Ogden, Utah. Raised in Chicagoland area. 3rd born of 4 children. At age 19 quit college to join the Marine Corps where he volunteered for service in Vietnam. Served 2 tours of duty as an interpreter and crewmember aboard UH-34d helicopter. Upon discharge went back to college. Went on to get 3 college degrees and opened several successful small businesses. In 1996, sold off businesses and went into teaching. Taught as adjunct instructor in college and as a K-12 teacher.

After retiring from full time teaching has now substituted in over 79 schools where he learned how important story telling is to learning. Since 2020 has published: ADVENTURES OF LEATHERBACK, FURTHER ADVENTURES OF LEATHERBACK, LILLY AND THE PINK LEPRECHAUN, DAMIEN CUNNINGHAM, EMMA AND THE GREEN POLAR BEAR.
