Robin Boyden

Robin Boyden is an illustrator who works freelance in Wiltshire, England. He finished his studies at University College Falmouth in 2007, receiving a first-class degree, and later obtained a Master's in Art and Design.

Robin focuses on creating illustrations for picture books and fiction aimed at middle-grade readers. His most recent titles include Leah Williamson’s debut middle-grade book ‘The Wonder Team and the Forgotten Footballers' and Sam Copeland and Jenny Pearson’s ‘Attack of the Robot Librarians’.

He also works as an editorial illustrator with clients including Wired UK, Saga, and BBC Focus.

Robin's artwork has twice been featured in the AOI Images annual publication and has collaborated with various clients in the publishing and editorial industries worldwide.

His first book as an author and illustrator, 'Gerald Needs A Friend,' was released in April 2021 through Francis Lincoln. He has also written and illustrated ‘Georgia and the Edge of the World’ a graphic novel published by David Fickling Books.
