The Bondsman, Jacob Monroe, has been licensed bail bonding agent in Colorado since 1994.
In 1998, Agent Monroe founded Rocky Mountain Academy of Bail Bonding & Fugitive Recovery. This school is certified by the State of Colorado and is an approved provider of the bail bonding and fugitive recovery training required by the State of Colorado.
With over 20 years in the field, Agent Monroe himself, has tracked down and captured 100s of fugitives throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and across America. 'My purpose,' says Monroe, ' is to give them hope. Not so much by anything I say, but by what I do. If I can find them, arrest them and return them to face justice, I have stopped their life long enough to give them one more chance to change. Once arrested, they can stop running. After they are caught, they can review their life and maybe, just maybe, they can find a new way, a good way. No one alive is beyond redemption. But while fugitives run, they have no time for change, except for the shoes they choose to run in.'
In going after fugitives and the dangers inherent in any arrest, Agent Monroe has stated that he goes by the grace of God. 'Without the Lord, I could do nothing.'
Beginning his life on the streets, as one of the criminals he now deals with in life, Jacob says that he could have easily ended his life in prison or on the streets lost to drugs or as a drunk. 'But by the grace of God in Jesus, I was saved. I did not deserve the Lord's grace or forgiveness. I am not worthy of the mercy Jesus offered me, but I thank the Lord, that his grace reached out to even me.'
'When I was young, I had all the breaks; Loving parents who tried to teach me the right way. However, I did not listen. I ran the streets, cheated, robbed, did drugs, and drank. I was a horrible person that deserved a horrible fate. But when I was stopped in my tracks one day with overwhelming fear and dread, I was finally able to turn away from a life of crime. I still have many lessons to learn from a heavenly Father who has never given up on me. And though my failures are far greater than my limited successes, Jesus encourages me to take yet one more step.'
'In writing this book, I want people like me, who have failed at everything, from family, as a father, as a husband, in work, in life, in all parts that a person can fail in, to understand that there is still hope. If we are breathing, the Lord has not given up on us. Often people believe or are told that they are nothing and their life is meaningless. But the truth of grace is that when our life is in the Hands of God, anything is possible. In Jesus, touching even one life with hope, offers eternal rewards. How amazing is that? We nobodies can reach into eternity by touching a life today.'
'How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things.' From the Word of God.
If you are still breathing, do not give up just yet. As long as there is yet breath...there is yet hope.
