CJ Schaeffer

CJ Schaeffer is a certified Biblical Counselor and licensed pastor with Elim Fellowship, active in ministry at her local church. She retired after twenty-five years of service in Children’s Ministry. She is noted for her generous hospitality, humorous manner of encouragement and speaking hope to the hearts of the broken.

As a writer, she’s published many op-ed pieces for her hometown newspaper and created children’s mission curriculum, plus devotional material and magazine articles. An accomplished speaker, CJ has shared stories of her own childhood sexual abuse at numerous women and church events, stateside and internationally. She is a passionate advocate for the pro-life agenda and victims of human trafficking.

CJ has lived in seven states and extensively traveled when she resided in Germany. Mission trips have taken her to Russia, Poland, South Africa, and Madagascar. She and her husband currently reside on the East Coast where she holds the titles of Mom and Stepmom to four wonderful adult children and proud Oma to five grandchildren. Her active days include a host of hobbies that add joy to her life such as reading—with cozy mysteries being a favorite genre—word and jigsaw puzzles, cooking, baking, hiking, and traveling especially during the fall foliage season. But her greatest delight is spending time with family, including their sweet bernedoodle. My Life in Pieces is CJ Schaeffer’s first book. A purchase of this book supports victims of sexual exploitation.
