Sandra Lucas

Sandy Lucas began her design career in 1978, working for an architectural firm after receiving a BS in Interior Design from The University of Texas at Austin. She taught Design and Drafting at The Art Institute of Houston, and spent 15 years as a Senior Designer with The Bryan Design Associates before forming Houston’s prestigious Lucas/Eilers Design Associates with Sarah Eilers in 1995. Sandy is a member of DLN, NCIDQ, TAID, professional member of ASID, and a registered Interior Designer in Texas. She is also a life member and past chairman of the University of Texas School of Architecture Advisory Council and a LEED Green Associate. Her interiors have been featured in numerous books and shelter magazines.
