Alan Luber

Alan Dean Luber grew up in Philadelphia and graduated #1 in his class from the College of Industrial Engineering at Penn State University. In 1985 he moved to Atlanta with his family where he worked as a product manager and supply chain consultant for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching baseball, playing piano, and spending time with his family. He published three technological books before being diagnosed with terminal Colon Cancer in 2003. During his battle, he wrote several computer articles and columns for Smart Computing and other tech magazines, while simultaneously writing the Cancer Chronicles. Writing became his savior, and he did it to the very end with no regrets.
