Leah Scott is a wife, mother, former Emergency Nurse turned natural Health and Wellness Advocate. In 2012 after that birth of her first child, she found out that motherhood was far harder than she could have ever imagined. Overwhelmed at times by postpartum depression, the endless emotions of motherhood, and the onslaught of mom guilt at every turn, she started to wonder why moms weren't talking about it more and why we are always trying to paint this glamorous easy picture of motherhood. Feeling the deep need to start talking about it and making other mothers feels seen and understand, fueled a new passion for Leah.
While spending much of her time in the trenches of motherhood, doling out snacks, mediating arguments and hoping like anything her children will stay in bed after bedtime so she can run her home business in peace, in 2019 Leah pursed what became this calling to write a book that allows other moms to read it and feel seen. To laugh, and cry and know that they are not alone in these trenches.
Grace in Chaos is Leah's first book that she hopes will allow women breath a sigh of relief when they read it and know that, not only are they not alone, but they are remarkable heroes in the every day life of showing up for their families and what they do every single day is nothing short of incredible.
