Patrick Spencer

Patrick Spencer has his entire life devoted himself to one principle, one law to the exclusion of all else: the Spartan way. As a child he discovered the ancient Spartans and was awed by their ways, their indomitable will, their alien character and their absolute and eternal legend borne at the historic Battle of Thermopylae. The rest was history. He spent years trying to be as them, trying to honor them and as best as he could to replicate their greatness. And he knew that it was his task in this life to resurrect them in whatever way he could. So he decided at the age of 23 to write Defiance (the first book in the Eternal Truth series). He spent the next five years of his life in complete dedication to it until in 2020, at age 28, it came to term and was published. But in his eyes, the journey has only just begun.
